The John Marshall Law School offers lawyers and non-lawyer employee benefits professionals the only Graduate Employee Benefits degrees in the country. Courses provide degree candidates with a solid foundation in retirement planning, welfare benefits, and executive compensation, and are taught by experienced tax and employee benefits practitioners, including attorneys from the IRS’s Office of Chief Counsel. Both Graduate Employee Benefits Programs stress a transactional approach in dealing with actual issues and problems encountered in the practice of employee benefits law.

LLM in Employee Benefits

The John Marshall Law School offers practicing lawyers the only ABA-approved LLM in Employee Benefits in the nation. Taught by experienced tax and employee benefits practitioners, including former IRS attorneys, the LLM program offers recently admitted attorneys the opportunity to focus their legal practice on federal employee benefits law and seasoned attorneys the expertise to sharpen their skills in employee benefits law. Degree candidates will receive a solid foundation in retirement planning, welfare benefits, and executive compensation.

MS in Employee Benefits

The MS in Employee Benefits offers non-attorney employee benefits professionals, including human resource executives, actuaries, accountants, investment advisors, and other professionals, a chance to further distinguish themselves in the field of employee benefits. The MS program offers degree candidates, with five years of relevant work experience, an impressive knowledge of employee benefits law, as well as new skills to think analytically and critically about changes in this field of practice.
